Rumored to have died when it was evicted from the Towson webserver, Star Haven Resort has been reborn! It also means that the Mario fanworks and the collection will have to be deleted from SHS.

My apologies for not updating. I had Otakon stuff to arrange, blog entries to write, and projects to plan. More importantly, I had to wait until Freehostia fixes their network problem. The site was up, but I had trouble getting in the control panel to update.

So, now, we finally got some stuff underway. First, my Otakon con report is up. In fact, it's been up for almost a month. Second, I finally got working the Original Artwork page. Right now, it's mostly artwork found in my deviantArt account. Third, I added a new album, my Mario collection that was in Star Haven Resort, my Mario fansite. Finally, I will hopefully finish up Mario Adventure II. I am still on Chapter 8, but I am halfway finished. Then it's two more chapters and then I get a decision to make. Stay tuned!

With Otakon on the way, I hope the experience will give me inspiration to make some artwork or at least finish my Mario fanfiction. In the meantime, remember the reviews that I have removed from this site? If you have checked out the blog, Live from Star Haven, I decided to use my reviews and make them into blog entries. Of course, they won't be ordinary reviews. These reviews will be more in-depth and/or have some form of analysis. Read the synopsis for Super Mario Galaxy, synopsis/history of Super Mario RPG, and the preview of Soul Eater for examples.

Even more of a miracle: The site map is done.

Bad news though. The reviews section is gone. I am not going to mess with that. I am going to hold on to it, just in case, but I do have plans on a new project working with these reviews (details will follow when it is all planned out).

This has to be mentioned. If you have been reading the Mario Adventure series, you might have noticed some bad editing skills (and frequent story changes) I have put in this fanfiction. I apologize. From now on, I will not update until the story is finished. That way, I won't change the story and keep confusing readers (if any). Mario Adventure II has three more chapters and Chapter 8 is on the way!

Oh, by the way, Star Haven Studios is having its belated first birthday. Its birthday was July 2nd. Yeah, sorry about that, but what a year it has been for SHS!

Anyway, as I have said, check out the blog for some great stories, including the SHS report and the Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony press conference news and responses from E3!

I apologize for the hiatus of Star Haven Studios. I have been working on a project involving Joomla and this site's Review section. My plan was to create an online gaming magazine site with a program called Joomla, but the web server, Freehostia, has issues involving frequent crashes. So, for now, that project has been aborted. I may try another content management system or just make the online gaming magazine site from scratch. Meanwhile, I have been making blog entries, so you can check them out.

Added Chapter 7 of Mario Adventure II.

The site has a new section: Winamp Skins! Featured in skins: more roses! I also managed to upload the reviews for the rest of the games that were in the old site. Finally, after much motivation, Chapter 6 of Mario Adventure II is finally up. I forgot to mention that I do have a hit counter, folks!

Added Nintendo 64 game reviews.

More game reviews were added in this past week, as well as a blog entry on the social browser, Flock. Anyway, today, I have uploaded images of roses, from stock images to wallpaper. Coming soon, the next chapter of Mario Adventure II and the rest of the game reviews.

Slowly, the old reviews appear. Now, we have the DVD reviews, as well as reviews of games of the current-generation from the old sites, which are now gone, as of Tuesday. Also added in the blog is The Dark Side of YouTube. Sometime in the end of the month, I will add more stock photos of roses, and if any turn out well, more wallpaper.

Well, it seems that the old server has not deleted my website, even though my email account from the same server is gone. Oh, well, I'm sure they'll notice. Anyway, I got the review section up and it features cartoons from Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog.

Well, Star Haven Studios has a new home. Soon, its old home will be gone, and I will move on. Anime Rave and Star Haven Resort have merged into one and embedded into Star Haven Studios. Soon, we will have reviews and a site map, but for now, please take a look around.
